Job Opportunity: Part-Time In-Home Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Are you passionate about helping individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities reach their full potential? Join our team as a part-time in-home Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a difference in the lives of children and their families.


Job Responsibilities

As an in-home Behavior Technician, you will:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in their homes, focusing on skill acquisition, communication, social interaction, and behavior reduction.
  • Collect accurate data on client progress and behaviors during each session.
  • Follow and implement behavior intervention plans and ABA strategies with consistency and fidelity.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers, offering support and feedback to promote skill generalization.
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision sessions to maintain quality service delivery.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the BACB (if RBT certified).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred, but not required—training can be provided).
  • Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor with clients and families.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
